Happy with U/A certificate, no deletion of words from CBFC: Imtiaz Ali

Mumbai: Bollywood filmmaker Imtiaz Ali who is the director of his upcoming movie ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ said that he is happy with the U/A certificate and also there was no deletion of any words from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

While interacting with the media during the launch of the film’s trailer, Imtiaz went on to say: “We are happy with the U/A certificate and no, there was no deletion of any words from the CBFC.”

In the movie’s mini trail, the film’s lead actor Shah Rukh Khan used the word ‘intercourse’. After its release, the Central Board of Film Certification chief, Pahlaj Nihalani, objected to the word.

He further went on to say: “There were some visual changes, but there were no audio cuts. And we are happy with it.”

‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ is planned to hit the theatres on August 4, 2017.
