Hizbul Mujahideen commander assures terror free Amarnath Yatra for Hindu pilgrims

Srinagar: On Tuesday, commander of Hizbul Majahideen released a video assuring terror free Amarnath Yatra for the Hindu pilgrims.

In the video, 22-year-old Burhan Muzzaffar Wani is heard saying that the most wanted group has no plans attacking the people coming from the pilgrimage. Burhan said, “They (Hindu pilgrims) are coming here to fulfill their religious duties and we have nothing to do with it.”

This statement from the terror group comes few days after a BSF officer said that IB officials have come across reports that the militants are planning to launch an attack during the Amarnath Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir.

Along with this, commander of Hizbul Mujahideen is also seen opposing separate colonies for Kashmiri Pandits, however, later on he said that the Pandits come and live in their respective areas.

Burhan said, “They have their own lands, house and other properties, We will not allow separate colonies on Israel pattern for Hindus.” At the same time Burhan warned the BSF saying, “Now we will not give any more warnings. There will be action against every person in uniform who furthers the laws of India in Kashmir.”

Warning the media for projecting them in the wrong way, Burhan said, “Had we been the terrorists we could have shut you up a long back. You go through the history and find out who is the terrorist.”
