Looks like, home district of Rajnath Singh is going to have a big group centre of the CRPF. It will have a capacity of around 5,000.
If officials are to be believed, Home Ministry has given a go ahead to the CRPF proposal to modify the location of the proposed group centre from Taralu in Karnataka to Chandauli.
Initial signs are that the centre will be spread in a 150-200 acre area and is going to be developed and operationalised by the next one to two years.
Rajnath Singh was born on July 10, 1951 in a farmer’s family in the Babhora village under Chakia tehsil of Varanasi district, now coming under the vicinity of Chandauli district.
It is worthwhile pointing out that the CRPF has few other group centres in UP including in Amethi.
