Idea slashes internet charges

Mumbai: Indian mobile network operator Idea Cellular today has slashed internet rates on their 4G, 3G, 2G data packs to attract more customers.

The GSM operator, an Aditya Birla group company, offers a range of 4G, 3G AND 2G sachet data packs priced between Rs 8 and Rs 225, the company said in a statement.

Chief Marketing Officer Sashi Shankar, said, “We want to ensure that benefits of internet are repeated conveniently by every individual through our innovative, customized and affordable products. This will enable the internet revolution and its impact be felt in every party of the country.”

Shankar, further added that now Idea users can get up to 45 per cent more data benefits on sachet packs below 1 GB.
