India bags three golds at Junior Shooting World Cup

Gabala (Azerbaijan): India managed to bag three gold medals on the opening day of the International Shooting Sport Federations (ISSF) Junior World Cup with the help of brilliant performance by Subhankar Pramanik, Sambhaji Patil.

Bengal’s Pramanik showcased a brilliant performance at the international level to shoot a 205.5 over 20 shots to settle for the silver in the 50-metre Rifle Prone event. The bronze medal went to Dragomir Iordache of Romania.

Prmanik earlier scored 613.8 in the qualifying phase to be sixth for the eight-man finals.
