India crush West Indies by 105 runs, lead series 1-0

India crushed the West Indian team by 105 runs in the second One-Day International (ODI) at the Queen’s Park Oval Stadium and took 1-0 lead in the five match series.

After been interrupted by rain, match was reduced to 43 overs and it was the Indian team that turned out to be the winners of the match.

It was when Indian team was asked to bat first, Indian opener Ajinkya Rahane smashed brilliant century followed by impressive Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan helped India post a challenging total of 310/5.

In reply, the hosts could only manage 205/6 in their allotted 43 overs.
