India dominate third day of first Test against Kiwis, take 215 runs lead

Kanpur: Team Indian have managed to make the most of the conditions that assist spin bowling here at the Green Park stadium by garnering 215 runs lead against the New Zealand team with the help of brilliant play by Murali Vijay (64 not out) and Cheteshwar Pujara (50 not out).

Indian score card stands at 159 for one against New Zealand on the third day of the first Test match.

Spinners Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja ripped through the New Zealand’s batting line-up that was bowled out for 262. The disciplined bowling of Ashwin got him a wicket at the start and he managed to get wicket of the overnight batsman Tom Latham.

He was getting fine support on the other hand as Jadeja struck the new batsman Ross Taylor in the very next over by getting him out leg before.
