Indian national woman, working with NGO in Kabul abducted

Kabul: On Thursday, an Indian national woman working with and NGO in Afghanistan, was supposedly abducted in the Kabul.

As per reports, the Indian woman, Judith D’Souza who was working with the Aga Khan Foundation was kidnapped from outside the office of the NGO along with many others.

Judith hails from Kolkata. As of now, sources close to the development said that efforts are being made by the Afghan authorities to get her released from the clutches of the kidnappers.

Confirming the same, a source in his statement to a news agency said, “All efforts are being made by Afghanistan authorities to secure the early release of Indian woman abducted in Kabul. The Indian embassy is in touch with senior Afghan authorities. The government is also in touch with the family of Indian national abducted in Afghanistan.”
