Indians should be ready to face tough period due to demonetisation: Manmohan

New Delhi: Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today stated that people of India should be ready to face “a tough period over the coming months” due to demonetisation.

Manmohan Singh further went on to say that the November 8 decision would be the reason for serious harm to the honest Indian at the same time as those with black money will get away with a mere rap on the knuckles.

Former Prime Minister stated: the decision has “shattered the faith and confidence that hundreds of millions of Indians had reposed in the government of India to protect them and their money.”

The demonetisation has led to an unprecedented cash crunch all over the nation, with the Reserve Bank of India incapable to supply sufficient cash in exchange for the 86 per cent of all currency that was spiked.
