IndvsEng: India 316/4, Kohli again stikes massive

Visakhapatnam: Captain Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara put India in a safe position by superb opening reaching 210/2 at tea on the first day of the second test match against England at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium. However they managed to make 314 for the loss of 4 wickets in the last session. Virat Kohli is batting at 151 along with Ashwin.

Earlier, Pujara (97 not out) Kohli(91 not out) were on the edge of making a century but in the meanwhile a dog entered in the pitch, compelling the umpires to call for a short break.

In the second half of the match, both of them managed to put the opposite team in a tight spot and proved their mettle by making a 188 run partnership and that was commendable.

Scores: Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli took India in a commanding position by staying stable on 97 and 91 not out respectively while on the other hand England bowlers Stuart Broad and Anderson managed to take 1/32, 1/25 respectively.
