IndvsEng: India 463/5 at lunch on Day 4

After England made comprehensive 477 in their first innings of the fifth Test match against India played here at the Chennai stadium, it was India’s chance to show their batting phenomenon. Indian batsmen stuck to the crease and made the most of the suitable batting conditions.



Lokesh Rahul was the one who laid foundation of the Indian batting lineup along with fruitful contribution from Patel who made 71 runs and then followed by stupendous ton by Karun Nair (122 not out).

Though Kohli was not successful to rise on to the occasion but it was still a strong batting reply by the hosts with still 5 wickets in hand and trail of just 14 runs left.

Indian team is expected to come back with an aggressive mind set and score some quick runs in the post lunch session and then make England bat for a while to get some excitement from the last match of the series.
