IndvsEng: Vijay’s ton lands India in comfortable position on day 3

Mumbai: Murali Vijay’s brilliant performance with the bat gave India a fine edge over England team with India reaching to a healthy 247/2 at lunch in their first innings against England on the third day of the fourth Test.

Vijay is still at the crease at 124 in response to England’s score of 400, after resuming at their overnight score of 146/1.

India skipper Virat Kohli has been the one to be consistent once again and is batting at 44 not out.
Opener Cheteshwar Pujara made 47 smooth runs before he was dismissed off the bowling of Jake Ball (1-18).

England got a good chance on the second ball of the day when Pujara got bowled but since then it was the Indian batsmen who dominated the match.
