Infosys employee hacked to death in Chennai

Chennai: In a horrific incident on Friday, an Infosys employee was killed in broad daylight at the Nungambakkam railway station in Chennai.

As per reports, the deceased, 24-year-old S Swathi was hacked to death while she was waiting on the second platform to board a train to work at Mahindra Tech Park. Sometime later, a young boy approached the girl and they got into a brawl, following which the man took out a sickle from his backpack and attacked Swathi.

After being attacked the victim fell down to the ground and the attacker escaped from the scene. Swathi who was attacked with the sickle number of time, succumbed to the injuries.

Reports are that two hours after the incident the police took her body to the mortuary. As of now, a case has been registered and the police are trying to probe in the matter. Eye witnesses said that the way the girl talked to the man looked like she knew him from before.
