IPL 2016: Shikhar Dhawan backs Yuvraj, says latter will do better in upcoming matches

Hyderabad: Sunrisers Hyderabad batsman Shikhar Dhawan, who played a match winning knock of unbeaten 47 runs, feels that Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh will get back his midas touch very soon.

Backing SRH teammate, Dhawan said that Yuvi will do better in the forthcoming games.

“We have to understand that he is coming back after a break and it does get difficult to score right away. It is normal for any batsman to take time to get back into that groove. We all are confident that he will do well in the forthcoming matches,” said the left-handed batsman.

In the recently concluded game of Sunrisers Hyderabad, Yuvraj bowled two economical overs, which put a stop over Gujarat Lions scoring rate. He conceded only 13 runs in his spell of two overs.

Dhawan praises his calming influence in the dressing room and said, “He has a very calming influence on everyone and his presence in the dressing room matters a lot. The youngsters get a boost just listening to him.”

Indian opener informs that he and Yuvi share a bit of technical stuff about their batting.

“Yuvraj and I share a bit of technical stuff about our batting and it is nice to get his inputs. Even today he said that I played well. He said that I had played according to the situation and played sensibly,” he added.
