Ishant Sharma rules out of Kanpur Test due to Chikunguniya

Kanpur: India’s pace bowler Ishant Sharma will not play first Test against New Zealand which is starting from 22nd December in Kanpur, due to he is recovering from Chikunguniya.

Indian coach Anil Kumble informed media persons that the management had not asked for a replacement of Ishant.

On other hand New Zealand team have few changes as its all rounder James Neesham would be missing Kanpur Test due to injury in rib which he had suffered during net session.

New Zealand coach Mike Hesson told journalists that last week, their fast bowler Tin Southee was ruled out of three Test series due to ankle ligament strain and returned back to home.
