Jats dare agitation again; Security beefed up in Haryana

Chandigarh: The Haryana government and the state police are preparing themselves to tackle with the re-start call of protests for reservation by a section of Jat community leaders.

Along with the Haryana Police there are also Paramilitary forces deployed in sensitive areas of Rohtak, Jhajjar, Sonipat, Jind, Panipat and Kaithal districts to make certain that the agitation does not get out of control and turn out to be aggressive at any point of time.

Under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code has been imposed in Sonipat district , which rules out any assembly of five or more people at any place. The Jat community has served a 15-day ultimatum to the Haryana government for implementation of reservation.
