Jaya urges Modi to accept Tamil Nadu’s amendments to GST Bill

NEW DELHI: Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalithaa today urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to accept the Tamil Nadu’s amendment’s to GST bill.

Tamil Nadu government has proposed few points to the Goods and Services Tax Bill. Chief Minister  further stated the proposed GST, in its present format, would affect the autonomy of the Tamil Nadu government.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s appeal on the GST Bill was part of a memorandum she handed over to the Prime Minister at the time of her meeting with him in his residence in New Delhi.
