J&K: India-Pak exchanges fire in Poonch

Jammu and Kashmir: According to the information given by the police, India and Pakistan clashed once again in Poonch district of Jammu when the Pakistan Army today resorted to senseless shelling and firing at the Indian positions along the Line of Control.

While talking to the media about the attack, Defense Ministry spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Manish Mehta went on to say: “The Pakistan Army initiated indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics and mortars at the Indian Army posts along the LoC.”

“The Indian side is retaliating strongly and effectively,” he said.

The exchange of fire is still on, he added at 11 a.m.
