Kabir Khan urges media to ignore Karachi airport incident

Mumbai: Filmmaker Kabir Khan, who reportedly faced protests and anti-India slogans at Karachi airport, has requested media of both countries to ignore the following story.

On Wednesday, noisy protests had erupted at Karachi airport against Kabir Khan regarding his Saif Ali Khan starrer film ‘Phantom’.

‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ director said that the incident should not be considered news.

He tweeted: “To media on both sides: 12 screaming lunatics with a mobile phone camera is not news. Please don’t give them the attention they want. Ignore”.

According to a popular Pakistani daily, at least one man waved a shoe at Khan who did not respond to the ruckus at the departure lounge.
