Mumbai: The result of Kangana Ranaut’s Simran is out. The film has managed to make a total collection of Rs 14.47 crore, till date.
Talking about Simran, it is about an NRI hailing from Gujarat who becomes addicted to gambling, and as a result also ends up robbing banks to return the money that she unintentionally borrows from a loan shark.
Simran got a good response from the audience and critics have lauded Kangana’s performance in the film. However, all is not well, according to many script lacks depth.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the latest box office figures of Simran and tweeted, “#Simran Fri 2.77 cr, Sat 3.76 cr, Sun 4.12 cr, Mon 1.41 cr, Tue 1.25 cr, Wed 1.16 cr. Total: ₹ 14.47 cr. India biz.”
