Mumbai:Comedian-actor Kapil Sharma took to Twitter to share his complaint to Narendra Modi regarding the alleged corruption in Mumbai’s civic body.
Kapil Sharma shared that he has been paying Rs 15 crore as income tax for the last five years but has been asked for a Rs 500,000 bribe by officials in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for grant of approval for constructing his office.
He tagged Modi’s Twitter handle @narendramodi in the post in which he said “I am paying 15 crores income tax from last 5 years and still I have to pay 5 lacs bribe to BMC office for making my office Narendra Modi,” Kapil tweeted.
“Yeh hain aapke achhe din? Narendra Modi,” he added.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’s response to Kapil’s tweets came soon stating: “Kapilbhai please provide all information. Have directed MC, BMC to take strictest action. We will not spare the culprit. Kapil Sharma. Narendra Modi.”
