‘Khaidi No 150’ gets a superb opening, garners more than Rs 47 cr on day one

Chennai: Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer “Khaidi No 150” has made a strong opening by garnering more than 47 crore on the first day at the box office worldwide.

This movie is Chiranjeevi’s 150th film, and was expected to be a big hit keeping in mind the stardom that Chiranjeevi shares among the audience.

Producer Aravind today stated: “On the first day, the film grossed around Rs 47.7 crore worldwide. The numbers are proof of the fact that audiences have eagerly waited for Chiranjeevi’s comeback. The film collected around Rs 30 crore from the two Telugu states.”

As per the information shared by the trade analyst Trinath, after getting superb opening on first day Khaidi No 150 has become the second best opening for a Telugu film after “Baahubali”.

“Nobody expected the film to do so well. Even the makers, in my opinion, wouldn’t have expected such a response. The numbers are phenomenal and are likely to get better over the weekend as it’s a festival period. This is the second best opening for a Telugu film after ‘Baahubali’,” Trinath said.
