Kohli, Jadhav tons put India in standing position vs England in 1st ODI

Pune: England amassed 350 for seven in the first ODI against India at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune today.




Earlier, host India after winning the toss against England elected to field first in their first One Day Internationals (ODI) during the ongoing Paytm cricket series at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium here today.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli is leading his team for the first ODI match after he has been named the captain for all three formats.




For Indian side Yuvraj Singh who made a comeback in the team was named in the playing eleven and the ones who missed out from the 15-member squad were Manish Pandey, Amit Mishra, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ajinkya Rahane.

Visitor team England is not playing with the names like Liam Dawson, Lian Plunkett, Sam Billings and Jonny Bairstow who will miss out from the playing eleven.
