Kumble steps down as head coach

New Delhi: The Indian head coach Anil Kumble today resigned from his post came as a shocker for all the cricket fans across the country.

The duo of skipper Virat Kohli and coach Anil Kumble has successfully took the team to new heights as during his regime India recorded 12 victories in 17 Test matches and made it to the finals of Champions Trophy 2017.

Kumble expressed his disappointment in a tweet and wrote:”It was apparent that the partnership was untenable, and I therefore believe it is best for me to move on.”

Many bigwigs like Sunny Gavaskar have categorically criticised Indian Caption for Kumble’s resignation. As they hold him responsible for creating an unhealthy environment in the dressing room.

Now, COA and BCCI are in search for a new coach who can lead the team forward by making a congenial atmosphere.
