Lakhs form human chain in Bihar to support prohibition policy

Patna: Lakhs of people today formed the human chain in Bihar to show their support on the prohibition of liquor in the state. The chain comprised of men, women and children and even political leader of several parties.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, RJD chief Lalu Prasad, Congress, along with the opposition BJP leaders participated in the human chain. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar imposed the liquor ban in the state on April 5, 2016.

Anjani Kumar Singh, Bihar Chief Secretary stated that they were forming “the world’s longest human chain of over 11,000 km” to back the decision of the prohibition of liquor imposed by the stated government in Bihar.

According to the information given by the officials, there will be three satellites, comprising of one foreign and two of Indian Space Research Organisation along with four aircraft, two helicopters and 40 drones would be used to gather the images of the human chain formed.
