Las Vegas shooting kills over 50

Las Vegas: In a horrific attack, at least 50 people were killed and over 200 injured at a music festival on Sunday.

According to reports, a gunman fired at a music festival in Las Vegas and killed around 50 people. He was firing from the 32nd floor of the near by Mandalay Bay Hotel.

Sources say that the shooting took place during a harvest festival, a three-day country music festival. A hailstorm of bullets and a stampede left more than 200 people injured.

As per sources, the gunman has been identified by the police as Stephen Paddock, who was a local man. The 64-year-old shooter was eventually killed by the police. But authorities were seeking an Asian female, identified as Marilou Danley, companion of the shooter.

The spokeswoman for the University Medical Center hospital said that 14 of the wounded were in a critical condition.

On Monday President Donald Trump took to Twitter and extended his condolences to the victims’ families.
