Lashkar-e-Taiba militant arrested from north Kashmir’s Baramulla district

Srinagar: As per the information given by the police, a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militant was today arrested from north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

In a joint operation from Tojjar village of Sopore area, Umar Khalid Mir was arrested today.

“He had joined the militant ranks in May 2014. An AK-47 rifle and three magazines was recovered from him,” a police official said.

“His interrogation is likely to reveal vital information about LeT cadre operating in north Kashmir,” the police added.
