Lift restriction on withdrawal limit of 24000 Rs: Rahul

New Delhi: Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today took on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi over demonetisation issue and stated that the limit of withdrawal of 24000 rupees should be lifted now as people are not able to use their own money.

Rahul said that Prime Minister should compensate the loss caused to the public and farmers due to the demonetization move.

He further went on to say that farmers have suffered a great loss and it is the responsibility of the Prime Minister to make it clear that how that loss to the common man will be recovered.

Congress Vice President was speaking at party’s 132nd foundation day and sought to know how much black money was recovered since November 8.

“Modiji has performed demonetisation ‘yagna’ for 50 families and one per cent super rich people of the country,” Gandhi added.
