Mahoba train accident: ATS to investigate with local police

Uttar Pradesh health minister Siddharth Nath Singh today talking to media stated that there might be some connection in the accident that took place today in which several bogies of Mahakaushal express got derailed in UP.

He further stated the ATS along with police will be carrying out the investigation as they are cut portions seen in the railway track nearby that are a cause of concern as of now.

Earlier, According to the information given by the officials, more than 40 passengers got injured after eight coaches of the Mahakaushal Express derailed today in Uttar Pradesh.



The incident occurred around 2 a.m. when the express train that runs between Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh and Hazrat Nizamuddin in New Delhi derailed between Laadpur and Supa near Kulpahar station, a railway official said.
