Major fire in Delhi engulfs 150 shops

New Delhi: According to the fire officials, total of 150 shops trading chiefly in woollen garments were destroyed subsequent to a massive fire broke out today.

No one was injured in the fire incident. The reason of fire was yet to be ascertained, officials said.

The fire broke out in the Nepali woollen market, in front of the Jama Masjid area, fire officials told media.

“A fire call was received at 1.10 a.m. following which 14 fire tenders rushed to the spot,” the officer said.
