“How many more lives will be lost for Modi babu?”: Mamata Tweets

Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today taking jibe at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that till now more than 95 deaths of people has been reported across the country following the November 8 demonetisation move by the government.

Mamata Banerjee took to the micro blogging site Twitter and stated: “How many more lives will be lost for Modi babu”.

West Bengal Chief Minister was alluding to a assembled list of 95 people who she stated had died while standing in bank or ATM queues or who had committed suicide due to lack of cash after demonetisation.

The list was tweeted by Trinamool MP Derek O’Brien.

Mamata has been taking on the Narendra Modi government over the subject of demonetisation of 500 and 1,000 rupees notes that has created a relentless cash problem in the nation.
