Mayawati takes a dig at Congress over alliance with SP

Lucknow: BSP supremo Mayawati today took on the Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav over corruption and stated that the Congress decision and eagerness to align with the ruling Samajwadi Party for the Uttar Pradesh assembly polls can be seen as a reflection of its political breakdown.

Talking to the media, BSP supremo Mayawati today stated that Bharatiya Janata Party will be experiencing the same that they witnessed in Bihar. She further blamed UP Chief Minister of not been able to control crime in Uttar Pradesh and the corruption has risen in SP regime.

She also mentioned that only Bhujan Samaj Party helps people from all castes and creeds while no other party works with such an effort in Uttar Pradesh. She accused Akhilesh for being responsible for more than 500 riots in UP and said that despite being aware of all this he gave tickets to the criminals and culprits.

She further went on to say that the recent happenings in SP camp were just planned drama and stated:”Mulayam Singh with his son Akhilesh, has been engaged in a drama with the sole aim to divert the people’s attention from the failure of the Akhilesh government.”

“In a clever conspiracy, Mulayam rendered Shivpal Yadav a sacrificial lamb,” she said relating to the rift that is been going on for a while between Mulayam Singh and Akhilesh Yadav.
