New Delhi: Gurgaon based Indian consumer electronic company Micromax launched Unite 4 Plus smartphone at Rs 7,999 to target 300 million first-time users in the country.
Micromax extended its successful regional language-based Canvas Unite Series in the country.
The company is targeting 300 million first-time users in the country with the Unite 4 Plus, who are willing to move to smartphones over the next three years but have not because they are uncomfortable using a device in English.
The Unite 4 Plus is packed with features such as Indus swipe, hybrid keyboard, text-to-speech, and Indus’ regional language app marketplace — App Bazaar, The smartphone comes with Indus operating system 2.0 that offers ecosystem in 12 regional languages.
The Canvas Unite 4 Plus features 1.1GHz quad-core processor paired up with 2GB of RAM, 5-inch HD IPS display, fingerprint sensor and runs on Android Marshmallow operating system, along with 16GB internal memory.
The 4G LTE-enabled smartphone sports 8MP rear camera, 5MP rear camera and houses 2500mAh battery.
