Minister Sharda Pratap Shukla sacked from SP

According to the information given by the Raj Bhawan spokesperson, Minister of state (independent charge) for higher education Sharda Pratap Shukla was today sacked from the Samajwadi Party by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.

Governor Ram Naik has accepted chief minister’s recommendation and Sharda Pratap Shukla has been sacked.

Sharda is the sitting SP MLA from Sarojini Nagar constituency is contesting election on a Rashtriya Lok Dal ticket. He is known to be very close to the Samajwadi Party Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav.

Shukla’s name was dropped from the list of candidates announced by the chief minister after he took over as the Samajwadi Party president and Samajwadi Party has fielded Anurag Yadav from Sarojini Nagar assembly seat.
