Modi boosts economic ties in African continent

Dar-es-Salaam: India’s Prime Minster who is on Tanzania tour currently met Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli today and discussed many important issues to boost economic ties with the African continent.

After the Indian Prime Minster arrived at the State House here he was given warm ceremonial welcome.

The India’s External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Vikas Swarup twitted on his account: “A ceremonial welcome, the East Africian way. PM’s Tanzania engagements begin at the State House in Dar-es-Salam.”

Modi who was on his third leg of his four nations African tour arrived in Tanzania late on Saturday night, was asked to perform a tradition by beating drum for nearly one minute along with Tanzanian President.
