Modi to reshuffle council of ministers tomorrow

New Delhi: The central government led by India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to reshuffle and expand his ministry tomorrow, according to government official.

The Principal spokesperson and Director General of Press Information Bureau, Frank Noronha has twitted in this account “Cabinet expansion tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11 am.”

The Prime Minister met his council of ministers in New Delhi on June 30 and takes query about important works and projects of various ministries.

Modi had met earlier Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah and Finance Minster Arun Jaitley to discuss some important matters.

Since Modi became the Prime Minister in May 2014, it will be the first major reshuffle of his ministry

Keeping in mind the regional balances especially in view of coming elections in states like Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab, the PM is going to reshuffle and expansion his of council of ministers accordingly.
