Mohan Bhagwat defy district administration order in Kerala

Kerala: Mohan Bhagwat was not given permission for hoisting the National flag at a school in Palakkad in Kerala on Independence day.

However, Bhagwat went ahead with the programme pretty much ruling out the district administration’s order.

It is worthwhile mentioning that Palakkad’s district collector issued a statement that it was not right for a political leader to hoist the national flag in an aided school.

On an expected note, the BJP has challenged the collector’s decision.

This incident is all set to spark debate in Kerala, which has already seen palpable tension between the BJP and the Left cadres.

To gain momentum in the state, BJP is going to organize a mega road show in Kerala after Onam. Amit Shah will be present in the event.
