MoS Mahesh Sharma apologizes after video of security guard thrashing guards goes viral

Ghaziabad: On Friday, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Tourism and Culture, Mahesh Sharma made an apology after a video showing his security officer beating up the housing security guards in Ghaziabad went viral on the social media.

Talking of the incident, one of the housing guard in his statement to a daily said, “It took hardly two minutes for us to open the gate and yet minister ji’s security thrashed and abused us.”

Angry housing society people said that this was not the way to behave with any of them and that they would approach the police.

However, the minister apologized to the society guard after he came to know about the incident.

Also, reports are that Sharma has also suspended the security officer who thrashed the housing security guards. He has also called for an inquiry in the matter.
