Movie ‘Dangal’ collects Rs 64 crore on Day 2

Mumbai: Bollywood perfectionist Aamir Khan once again justified the name of a thorough person by his latest release ‘Dangal’ in the Bollywood industry.

The film did a commendable business at the box office in Day 2 all over the world which is Rs 64 crore. The film was released on December 23 in Hindi, Telegu and Tamil on the second day of its release Dangal collected an estimated amount of Rs 34.82 crores only in India.




Trade analyst Taran Adarsh said that after Taare Zameen Par, Ghajini, 3 Idiots, Dhoom: 3 and PK, with Dangal “Aamir Khan’s success ratio during Christmas remains per cent.”

The film ‘Dangal’ is about the real life of a Haryanvi wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat who hoped to win a gold medal for India in wrestling but unfortunately could not fulfil his dream and coached his daughters Babita and Geeta Phogat in the field of wrestling to fulfil his dream.




The film was appreciated by many B-town stars and was allegedly compared to Sultan very much but the Sultan star Salman who is close friend of the actor went on to say that the film was liked very much by his family and he declared that Dangal is better than Sultan.

He took to Twitter and posted, “Aamir hate you professionally but love you personally” and that itself is a big compliment for the movie and for Aamir as well.
