Movies that don’t work affect Vidya to a great extent

New Delhi: Kahaani 2 actress Vidya Balan today stated that she gets affected if her films go unnoticed on screen.

She further went on to say that it was only after 2008 failure affected her, earlier, she was not invested in the films that much but after she year 2008 she started doing films like ‘Paa’, ‘Ishqiya’ and ‘No One Killed Jessica’.

Now she feels affected if films don’t work for her as she has now invested in films emotionally as well.

She further stated: “I have given so much of myself to the films. So, it affects you… It’s like your child is being rejected by the world and it’s heart-breaking. Not that you would love the child any less because the world doesn’t except it, but it’s difficult.”

Vidya next venture is “Begum Jaan” which is a remake of the 2015 Bengali film “Rajkahini” and the movie is all set to hit the screens on March 17.
