MP CM Shivraj likely to expand ministry

Bhopal: In a political reshuffle Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is going to expand his council of ministers today.

Interestingly, this is Shivraj’s first ever cabinet ministry expansion since he took office in December 2013 for his third consecutive term.

Although, there has been no official announcement in this regards that who will be inducted in the ministry, but some sources said that Archana Chitnis, Jaibhan Singh Pawar, Ramlal Rautela, Rustam Singh and Vishwas Sarang are among those who may be made ministers.

Sources in the ruling Bhartiya Janata Party said that some elderly ministers are likely to be removed and about six minister’s portfolios to be changed.

On Wednesday, the BJP’s in-charge for Madhya Pradesh Vinay Sahastrabuddhe and Chouhan had met party President Amit Shah and General Secretary (Organisation) Ramlal to discuss the possible inductees into the cabinet.
