Mulayam arrives in Lucknow to deal family political crises

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh): Amid open feud in the family, Samajwadi Party (SP) supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav reached Lucknow from Delhi on yesterday evening to solve the family political crises between son and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav as well as brother Shivpal Singh.

After reaching Lucknow, Mulayam summoned Shivpal, and Akhilesh, to held closed door meeting with them to resolve the situation.

According to sources, the meeting came at the request of Mulayam, where Shivpal later met Akhilesh at his official residence.

The sources further added, the SP chief immediately met Akhilesh.

SP national general secretary and Mulayam’s another brother Ramgopal Yadav said earlier, “Once he (Mulayam) reaches here, all will be well. His word is final.”

Earlier in the day, Ramgopal had met the Chief Minister and claimed that “Akhilesh is not angry with anyone and the decision of netaji (Mulayam) is final in the party.”

The same was said by Shivpal at his press conference.
