Nadal gives gift of honour to Federer at tennis academy opening

Manacor (Spain): Popular world class tennis player Rafael Nadal has opened a tennis academy in Manacor, Mallorca which is the home town of Nadal today.

But this opening has become more special because Nadal has called Roger Federer to be present in the opening of the tennis academy. He (Nadal) insisted him to come in the opening of the academy who is considered to be his close friend.

The Spanish tennis player who has won 23 matches against Roger Federer (Swiss legend) who has won 11 matches, total out of 34 matches they have faced against each other.

But the challenging spirit amongst them has not ended yet and Nadal has promises to be back in the game, stronger than ever before and never quite after his injuries magic spell.

The Rafa Nadal Academy is built across 24,000 square meters (258,000 sq. ft.) and is to combine tennis lessons with academics.
