Navjot Singh Sidhu to break silence on resignation from Rajya Sabha today

New Delhi: Former BJP leader Navjot Singh Sidhu who created a stir in political arena after he resigned from Rajya Sabha, will today come forth and finally break his silence on the same. As per reports, former cricketer will hold a press conference today at 11:30 am at his residence her.

Also, if reports are to be believed, he would also make an announcement on his decision to join the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). He might also be the face of AAP in the upcoming crucial Punjab assembly polls.

The upcoming polls will be see three parties competing against each other namely – Shiromani Akali Dal-BJP, Congress and AAP.

On the very first day of the Monsoon Session in the Parliament, Sidhu served his resignation. He was nominated as the Rajya Sabha member just a few weeks back. Reports are that Sidhu was unhappy with Akali Dal in the state and thereby decided to quit the party.
