Navjot Singh Sidhu’s wife criticizes Congress Punjab chief

Chandigarh: Former cricketer turned politician Navjot Singh Sidhu’s wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu who is being rumored to soon join Congress, put an end to all the reports as she criticized Punjab’s Congress chief Amarinder Singh.

While talking to a leading news channel, she said, “Amarinder Singh not of that moral level that he can lead Punjab. He is as guilty as any other party of not being a defender of Punjab’s interest.”

Some time back, the Punjab chief had offered Navjot Singh Sidhu to join the party and had said that the party will always remain open for him.

Amarinder had said, “If Sidhu is still unsure which way he should head politically after quitting the BJP, the doors of Congress are always open for him. Sidhu has the Congress in his DNA. His father was a general secretary of the party and remains a member. I know him since he was a boy.”

Navjot Singh Sidhu and his wife Navjot Kaur quit the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) last month and ever since then, the former has been in talks with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) ahead of the assembly polls in the state.

Sidhu is yet to join any party and talking on the same Kejriwal said that he was still waiting for an answer from the former cricketer.
