Nihalani must be sacked if he does not apologize: AAP

New Delhi: AAP today stated that Censor board Chief Pahlaj Nihalani must be sacked if he does not apologize to Anurag Kashyap for asserting he may have taken money from the AAP to make “Udta Punjab”.

AAP leader Ashish Khetan talking to media stated: “The allegation by Pahlaj Nihalani that Kashyap took money from AAP for his ‘Udta Punjab’ is baseless. He should apologize to Kashyap.”

He further went on to say that if Nihalani did not apologize, then Prime Minister Narendra Modi should sack him from the post.

Ashish Khetan also stated: “Lots of people – mostly youths — have lost their lives in Punjab due to drug menace. The time has come to act against those who patronize this (drug) business in Punjab.”

Earlier, Nihalani had alleged that he had heard that Kashyap had “taken money from AAP” to show Punjab in bad light through “Udta Punjab”.
