New Delhi: Actress Nimrat Kaur looked like a royal princess as she walked the runway at the Amazon India Fashion week for wearing designer Mandira Wirk’s white drape gown.
The 34-year-old actress donned pearl jewellery teamed with a cape to add more royalty to her look.
The designer showcased her latest collection titled New Royals, which comprised a wide range of panelled anarkalis, jackets and capes, floor sweeping bell bottoms, crop tops, jumpsuits and tapered trousers.
Nimrat told reporters post the show, “Mandira’s collection is so pretty and feminine. I just love her clothes. It’s beautifully enhancing the female body form and at the same time makes you feel so light and pretty.”
Mandira gave detailing to the attires using wide pockets, deep waistbands paired with layers of tiered ruffles and French knots. The range also saw a wide use of dori embroidery.
Designer said, “The collection is pretty feminine and romantic. The attires are wearable and light. It’s a versatile range. I’ve used lot of pastels and capes and experimented with sleeves.”
