No outrage when RSS men get killed: Arun Jaitley

Kerala: While the RSS-BJP is working overtime to nationalise the issue of murders of its cadre allegedly by the Left workers, Arun Jailey’s visit to the family of a recently slain RSS volunteer has not gone down well in the CPI(M) parlance.

Jaitley was not pleased with the violence against RSS-BJP members adding that the RSS and BJP could not be suppressed through violence.

RSS worker SL Rajesh (34) was hacked to death on July 29 in Thiruvananthapuram. His left arm was chopped off while he was stabbed more than 100 times with sharp weapons like knives and swords.

Even worse, his face too was cut up and badly disfigured. Jaitley questioned the silence of those who otherwise spoke against identical cases in other parts of India.

In defence, CPI(M) is saying that the political violence had increased in Kerala after the visit of BJP president Amit Shah in early June.

Jaitley said that it is the job of the state government to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to book and a deterrent punishment is slapped on them.
