Mumbai: The Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra who was recently seen in her Hollywood debut ‘Baywatch’, stated that nothing was handed to her on a platter instead she had to do sheer work hard in order to be successful and win the hearts of her fans.

While speaking to the media, Priyanka went on to say: “Nothing was handed to me on a platter and I have had to work hard to pave the way for myself. I didn’t know how show business worked. Here I am, so many years later and I have figured it out on my own.”




The diva has been spotted several times on the prestigious red carpet and had managed to grab the eyeballs of people through her charismatic personality and aura. Her discreet frankness in various American TV shows displays her utter confidence.

Talking to the media when asked about what made her so favorite in videsh, the actress replied: “I didn’t feel entitled when I walked into another country. I didn’t walk in expecting people to know me. When I met people who didn’t know me, I was okay introducing myself. This could be the reason for the kind of reception I got in America. The recognition has been quick and wonderful.”




Priyanka who is always ready to make commitments in Bollywood and Hollywood added that she has no regret about not having any time to cherish her success. She said: “My mother tells me that I should sit down sometimes, smell the coffee and take a breather. But, I just want to think about what’s the next thing that I want to do. Maybe, sometime in life, I will be able to savor it all. But I haven’t reached that point yet.”
