Novak Djokovic dreams end at Wimbledon

London: Serbian tennis professional and world No.1 player Novak Djokovic who was two times defending champion has been knocked out of Wimbledon by Sam Querrey on Saturday.

Djokovic lost to Querrey by 7-6 (8/6), 6-1, 3-6, 7-6 (7/5) in the third round, which also ended Novak era record run of 30 consecutive wins and his streak of having reached 28 successive Grand Slam quarter finals.

Querrey shattered Djokovic dream of securing the first calendar Grand Slam in 47 years.

The World number one, who was bidding for a fourth Wimbledon title and 13th major, suffered his earlier loss at a Slam since the 2009 French Open.
